As a Data Analyst, you’ll be at the pulse of data-driven innovation, uncovering trends and delivering insights that keep our fleet moving smoothly. With a knack for building strong stakeholder relationships, you’ll collaborate with engineers, managers, and key partners to drive real-time improvements and reduce delays. Your work will shape the future of rail travel, helping us deliver seamless journeys across the North.
Are you confident in:
* Partnering with TrainCare Centre teams and Fleet Improvement Engineers: To analyse technical incidents, identify trends, and create straightforward reports that inform data-driven decisions and shape the future of rail travel.
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders: To ensure clear, impactful communication and seamless collaboration aimed at improving fleet performance and reducing technical incidents.
* Driving performance discussions: In daily meetings, actively contributing insights that address root causes of technical delays and enhance operational efficiency.
* Developing and maintaining business KPIs and performance metrics: while using Excel to manage documentation, flag issues, track trends, and report on technical incidents for continuous improvement.

* Skilled in building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders? Confident in collaborating with diverse teams to ensure open communication, alignment on objectives, and shared progress toward improving fleet performance.
* Proactive in leading discussions? That drive operational improvements. Ready to engage in daily performance meetings, share insights, and contribute to actionable solutions.
* Detail-oriented and data-driven? With a talent for analysing technical incidents, spotting trends, and producing clear, impactful reports that help shape future rail strategies. Ideally experienced in Tableau, Alteryx & Power BI or similar software.
* Committed to continuous improvement? With a strong focus on tracking KPIs, maintaining performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to enhance service quality?
