Here's What You'll Need:
1. Degree qualification (or equivalent training and experience) in appropriate environmental, physical science or engineering discipline.
2. Significant experience in a comparable role (individual candidates need experience of some of the technical topic areas described above, not necessarily all).
3. Good working knowledge of relevant regulations for nuclear site permitting and operations.
4. Experience of bid leadership and proposal preparation.
5. Ability to manage time and priorities while working on several varied projects.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including tailoring outputs to the requirements of different stakeholders.
7. Good people skills – able to clearly explain concepts to aid training and development of colleagues; facilitate workshops and manage stakeholder engagement activities.
Additionally, the following desirable qualities would be advantageous:
8. Actively pursuing (or already hold) relevant Chartership.
9. Recognised technical leadership within the industry
10. Practical experience of environmental management on nuclear sites
11. Willingness to travel on business on occasion. This may include sites across the UK and overseas (e.g. Europe, USA, Japan, Australia).
