Purpose of the Role
* Assist in the management of the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and induction through to end of employment.
* Assist the HR department in ensuring the successful development of the firm in line with the business plan.
Key Objectives
1. Be actively involved in recruitment and selection processes and procedures across the Practice, which would usually.
2. Identify appropriate recruitment strategies, writing/amending job descriptions, prepare interview questions and undertake interviews alongside appropriate specialist staff.
3. Assist in the induction process including the preparation of the induction programme and undertaking new starter inductions.
4. Preparation of review letters for staff salaries during the annual pay review process and provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for all staff.
5. Work with line managers to manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, sickness and absence and end of employment, driving resolution in line with legislation and internal policies.
6. Continuously monitor, review and update spreadsheets relating to staff working hours, salaries, absences, etc.
