Account Manager - Wolverhampton, Dudley and Walsall

As an Account Manager, your role will be two-fold: providing great customer service and driving business with existing motor dealer accounts, as well as actively canvassing and acquiring new business from target dealer accounts in your designated territory.
The Role
1. Researching and maintaining a first-class knowledge of your territory and the opportunities within it.
2. Developing and coaching the performance of new and existing dealers by driving bespoke training solutions to support their warranty sales.
3. Actively finding new ways to win business from target accounts using our consultative sales process.
4. Dealing with all client queries and liaising with management as required.
5. Negotiating and overcoming any objections to win business from target dealer accounts.
6. Planning ahead to deliver the growth required to support your monthly new business KPIs.
7. Regularly reviewing to pinpoint any areas which may require additional focus in your territory.
8. Planning your own diary to maximize your effectiveness in the role.
Experience Required
1. Sales experience and/or field-based environment is ideal (not essential); some of our best Account Managers came from large retail backgrounds like John Lewis/Next, or Business Managers/Sales Managers from the motor trade.
2. Self-confidence and good relationship-building skills.
3. Comfortable with cold-calling and able to think on your feet.
4. A good eye for detail.
5. The ability to adapt to change as we constantly improve our business.
6. Highly self-motivated individual, hungry to succeed and be the best.
7. Great communication and presentation skills.
8. Able to persuade and influence potential sales.
9. Excellent customer service skills.
10. Comfortable proposing ideas and proposals to management.

The Salary & Package
£50,000+ potential earnings per annum with uncapped commission (Top Account Manager is earning £82,000+). 25 days annual leave + bank holidays & Company Pension. Staff recognition incentive schemes.
