Thesuccessful candidate will oversee and maintain the care of Residents within the Care Home. In the absence of the Home Manager willtake responsibility for the daytoday running of the Care Home andensure that all Company policies and procedures and all legalrequirements are adhered to within the definedtimescales.
Your dutiesas a Nurse/ Deputy Home Manager willinclude:
Assessingplanning implementing and evaluating individual care plans forservice users and assist care staff in theirresponsibilities.
Takingresponsibility for all clinicaldecisions
Carryingout all nursing interventions in a professional manner and inaccordance with the NMC Code of Conduct fornurses.
Ensuringall documentation is completed and evaluated as required by thecare home in a timelymanner.
Ensuringall Staff Members contribute to the best of their ability to theefficient running of the Care Home and to the creation of anatmosphere conducive to the best interests ofResidents.
Interactingwith Residents to ensure that their health care needs are being metand resolve any problems whereappropriate.
Orderingreceiving storing administering or supporting to selfadminister anddispose ofmedication.
Practicingmaximum integrity in all dealings with Residents personal andfinancial affairs and avoid abuse of the privileged relationshipthat exists withResidents
Ensuringthe Care Home operates in accordance with all statutory regulatoryand contractualobligations.
Implementingand initiating induction training for all StaffMembers.
BeingOn Call for advice/action in any emergencies which may arise out ofhours.
Adheringto and assist with the implementation of all HR policies &procedures.
Liaisingwith external professionals e.g. social workers GPs and otherprofessionals
Assistingthe Home Manager with all aspects of the running of thehome.
In theabsence of the Home Manager taking responsibility for the runningof the home.

Strong care homeexperience
Firstlevel nurse qualification
Previous management/supervisory experience
