Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing and operating transport models in multiple software packages
2. Providing strategic analysis for road and rail interventions
3. Executing advanced statistical analysis and developing strategic modelling tools
4. Conducting economic appraisals of various transport options
5. Delivering analytical services to support the Government's Integrated Rail Plan
6. Collaborating with colleagues and partners to meet project needs
7. Preparing compelling and robust evidence for business cases, strategies, and policies
8. Managing development of small areas of TAME's Analytical Framework
Job Requirements:
1. Passion for the role of transport in supporting regional aims
2. Experience in developing effective working relationships with project teams and clients
3. Excellent communication and writing skills
4. High level of numeracy with strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
5. Experience in analysing, modelling, and assessing future transport demands
6. Knowledge of appropriate transport planning guidance and best practices
7. Experience with transport modelling software such as SATURN, CUBE, or VISUM
8. Qualifications in transport planning, engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, geography, or related fields
