About the role
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level. The role is due to commence from September 2024. This is a full time position for the full academic year, with the potential to transfer onto a permanent contract with the school.
The school welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.
The school
The school based in St Austell, is an alternative provision and helps students transition either back into mainstream school or to a long term alternative provision. The children within the school all have SEMH and Challenging Behaviour needs and specialist TA’s and other professionals support each day.
Requirements
To be considered for the English Teacher role you must:
· Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Have previous SEN experience
· Be adaptable and flexible
· Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
