Job description
Leading international consultancy seeks an Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor level candidate with experience of working on rail projects, to join their established team in Stratford.
This is a contract role which offers hybrid working and will see you play a crucial role in providing support and assistance in all aspects of commercial management and quantity surveying within the rail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting quantity surveying activities and managing commercial aspects of the projects
2. Providing cost and value management support
3. Preparing estimates, budgets, and cost plans
4. Assisting with contract administration and resolving commercial issues
5. Undertaking risk management and reporting
6. Maintaining accurate records and documentation
7. Liaising with stakeholders and clients
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Job Requirements:
9. Significant experience in quantity surveying within the rail industry
10. Excellent knowledge of commercial management practices and techniques
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
12. Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders
13. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
