We are working with a high-achieving, dynamic secondary school located in Romford who are seeking a Maths Teacher. Based in a central area of East London, this school was rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED in 2022 and offers fantastic state of the art facilities for staff and students. The school provides a supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our vibrant team and contribute to the development of our students’ critical thinking, creativity, and understanding of the world.
As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students across KS3-KS4, delivering high-quality lessons in Mathematics. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team, working in a well-resourced department to create engaging, challenging, and meaningful learning experiences. The successful Maths Teacher will play a key role in promoting academic excellence, encouraging student curiosity, and fostering a love of learning.
This is a permanent Maths Teacher position starting in Easter 2025. Successful applicants must hold UK QTS and have right to work in the UK.
Requirements
The desired Maths Teacher will be able to;
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective Mathematics lessons up to GCSE.
Instil a passion for Maths and help students to gain confidence to prepare them for the wider world.
Differentiate teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with additional needs.
Assess and monitor student progress, offering feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
Actively contribute to the department’s planning, sharing resources, and collaborating with colleagues.
