The IT team here at Biffa are undergoing digital transformation to ensure our products and services use the best and most cutting-edge technology to drive competitive advantage for our business. We are looking for a commercially minded Senior Product Manager to join the team and take ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle across several business capabilities/segment areas. You must have a passion for understanding the business in-depth and developing digital solutions that blend seamlessly with customers’ workflows, provide the right information at the right time and deliver shareholder and customer value.

Your core responsibilities
1. Partner with one or multiple business divisions to take the idea through to product implementation, driving the roadmap for business demand, building a trusted advisor relationship with MDs/leadership across business divisions.
2. Serve as the "voice" of the customer on critical, complex products translating customer needs to the delivery team by properly prioritizing needs, and defining business benefit/value.
3. Work closely with architecture, engineering, and third-party providers in a collaborative environment to create strategic, product delivery roadmaps and oversee implementation.
4. Facilitate discussions, user story development and refinement, and testing and validation; contribute to roadblock resolution and decision making.
5. Create strong and robust business cases aligned to the overall strategy and present to executive teams for approval
6. Create and manage effective ‘Go to Market’ strategies to ensure successful adoption of new product offerings.
7. Define, monitor and analyse key performance indicators to better facilitate the product decision making process.
8. Perform analysis for build/buy/partner decisions and product demonstrations/technical presentations
9. Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
10. Assist with designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring enterprise technology architecture compliance of projects and products.
11. Identify the organisational impact (, on skills, processes, structures and culture) and financial impact of the enterprise technology architecture.

Our essential requirements
12. 5 years’ of Product Management experience preferably in Agile/SCRUM environment
13. 3 years’ experience building business cases, owning product strategy and product performance (or P&L) on complex products
14. Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to conduct financial analysis
15. Experience managing other product managers, business analysts, UI/UX analysts or technical product owners
16. Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies (, waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, and DevOps
17. Experience embedding agile ceremonies and ways of working across distinct teams
