About the service:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Senior Cardiac Physiologist who's ready for the next step to be a Cardiac Services Manager to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital based in the outskirts of Truro, Cornwall. The Cardiology Department offers a variety of outpatient clinics and diagnostic testing for both inpatients and outpatients.
Our lab provides a range of procedures including elective angiography, PCI, device implantation, Cardioversion, and Transoesophageal echocardiography. The lab is undergoing a full refurbishment, which will allow for further development of the range of PCI procedures including Rotablation and shockwave.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Senior Cardiac Physiologist who's ready to take on the challenge of working as a Cardiac Services Manager in a highly reputable company with state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Daily management of the Cardiology Service
2. Managing capacity and demand, ordering stock and invoicing receipting high-cost consumables
3. Dealing with consultant queries and supporting the clinical members of the team
4. Assist during the full range of cardiac procedures undertaken within the outpatient setting and the angiography suite
5. Deliver an outstanding level of care
6. Ability to work under pressure and be able to effectively manage the team
Who we're looking for:
1. BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is a necessity for the role
2. Valid RCCP/AHCS with no restitution or convictions
3. 5 years experience as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist
4. Able to demonstrate previous management experience
