We are looking for a talented Financial Planner to join our team and support the growth of the Duncan & Toplis Group.
What does this role involve?
As an experienced Financial Planner, you will be working with new and existing clients providing financial planning services including wealth management, investments, pensions, personal protection, inheritance tax mitigation and retirement planning.

Client service is key to our success and you will work closely within your client portfolio to ensure all clients have a clear understanding of future investment plans. You will provide detailed reports, be an expert in investment opportunities and risks and be able to recommend strategies to achieve key financial objectives. Your advice will always be compliant, well researched and comprehensive.
Documentation
You will be experienced in documenting client objectives and take full responsibility for the fullness of your records, ensuring completeness in all matters.
Ongoing reviews
Maintaining the expected standards of service to your clients, you will conduct regular client reviews and monitor changes to their financial status and objectives together with the broader economic impact, making changes to their investment strategy as necessary.
Teamwork
You will ensure team members are kept up to date and informed of relevant financial services matters and develop both internal and external professional connections to ensure quality client introductions. Together, we will achieve the agreed target levels and standards, and ensure service delivery in line with the company’s culture and core values. You will maintain fairness, equality, diversity and inclusivity in everything that you do.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), or equivalent, and a current valid Statement of Professional Standing, with a commitment to further professional advancement.
To excel in this role you will need excellent communication, interpersonal, presentational and relationship-building skills:
* Profound knowledge of the financial services market, products, associated technical and compliance issues and to be able to understand and demonstrate adherence to regulatory rules, requirements and obligations.
* Previous knowledge or use of Microsoft Office products.
* Experience using Intelliflo, Selectapension, CashCalc, Defaqto or FE Analytics software is desirable.
