Technical Manager from an Electrical background required to manage a small technical department.
Based in Burton.
Salary up to approx c£54k, car allowance & healthcare.
THE COMPANY/BENEFITS
* Autonomy to drive the growth and development of the Technical team to include project and service support.
* Form part of the management team, with scope for future director level.
THE ROLE
A varied role to include:
* Management of a small team with a hands-on approach where required.
* Technical and commissioning support for customer enquiries, both from the office and on-site focusing on electrical & BMS system diagnostics within HVAC equipment.
* Support product selections, quotes and tenders for customer projects, ensuring customers receive excellent standards of service.
* Develop an after-sales service with sub-contractor partners for service calls and breakdowns.
* Assist with project and after-sales operations to include warranty claims, support with product installations and troubleshooting any on-site queries.
* Support the product development process based on customer feedback.
THE PERSON
* Ideally 18th edition qualified, with strong experience working on BMS controls.
* Experience on HVAC equipment an advantage.
* Would suit an Electrical Engineer, BMS Engineer, Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or Supervisor/Manager within the industry.
* Some management experience would be desirable but not essential.
* Good IT skills, with the ability to oversee project proposals, report on the department and use in-house systems on a day-to-day basis.
* Flexible to travel to client sites as required during your working week.
THE PACKAGE
A basic salary up to c£54k.
Car allowance of £7k per annum.
Pension, healthcare and 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays in addition.
LOCATION
Ideally based within commutable distance to Burton.
Suitable towns/cities include Derby, Loughborough, Tamworth, Lichfield, Stafford and surrounding areas.
