Actio Automotive Recruitment are assisting our Wellington based client with their search for a Service Advisor to join their successful team.
About Us: Our client is a main dealer, known for providing excellent customer service and top-quality vehicle solutions.
Role Overview: As a Service Advisor, you will be the face of the business and key point of contact for customers in our service department. You'll manage customer bookings, provide updates, and liaise between the service technicians and customers to ensure a smooth and professional service experience. This role is perfect for someone with great communication skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Liaison: Greet customers, handle service inquiries, and manage bookings, ensuring a warm and professional service experience.
2. Work Orders: Prepare job cards, explain service and repair details to customers, and provide accurate cost estimates.
3. Communication: Act as the link between customers and the workshop, providing updates on vehicle progress and any additional work required.
4. Upselling: Identify and recommend additional products or services that would benefit the customer's vehicle.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure all customer issues and service-related concerns are resolved to a high standard.
6. Administration: Manage customer records, service histories, and follow-up communications.
7. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring services are delivered efficiently and on time.
Key Requirements:
1. Experience: Previous experience in a Service Advisor role or a customer-facing position within the automotive industry.
2. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
3. Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple bookings and tasks at once.
4. Technical Knowledge: An understanding of vehicle mechanics and repair processes (preferred, but not essential).
5. Customer Focused: A passion for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive customer experience.
6. IT Skills: Proficiency in using service management software and Microsoft Office applications.
