We are looking for permanent Day Shift Butcher for our client who is a successful supplier of meat products, delicatessen and dry goods to the catering industry based in Poole.
The role will predominantly involve cutting steaks to customers bespoke orders.
Hours of work:
40 - 48 hours per week, worked over 5 or 6 days, between Monday to Saturdays.
You will be required to work:
Mondays 4am - 1pm
Tuesday to Fridays 4am - 1:30pm
Saturdays 4am - 11am.
If working 5 days, a day off will be allocated as agreed

The role : As an experienced butcher you will prepare fresh and frozen meats to a high standard and to individual customer specification for supply to both retail and the catering trade.
Reporting to either a Shift Supervisor or Manager, you will work on a butcher's block in a traditional butchery, as part of a team of production personnel in a shift-based factory environment.
The Ideal Candidate: W ill have previous experience as a butcher. You will be both talented and/or enthusiastic about butchery and ideally have previously worked in fresh meat production for catering establishments.
