Agility Resourcing is a leading recruitment agency that specialises in finance and accountancy roles. We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's team in Preston, for a 3-month contract. You will be responsible for:
1. Coding and checking invoices
2. Working out VAT payments
3. Paying out money via BACS or cheque
4. Checking and reconciling supplier statements
5. Filing invoices and statements
6. Dealing with purchase enquiries
7. Processing staff expenses
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. GCSEs in Maths and English
2. Strong IT skills, especially in Excel
3. Bookkeeping experience
4. Organisational skills
5. Attention to detail
6. Communication skills
The salary for this role is £24,000 - £27,000, pro rata, depending on experience and qualifications. The working hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday.
