Telesales Team Leader
Leeds
Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an office-based Telesales Team Leader to join the Telesales team in our busy contact centre in Leeds.
As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for coaching, leading, and motivating a team of Telesales Executives and will be directly accountable for the ongoing performance and development of the team, leading a culture of empowerment where every sale and service opportunity is realised.
You will be the key communication link between the Telesales and the wider business, ensuring effective communication across your team.
What you'll be doing:
1. Work closely with the Telesales Manager to ensure the continued growth of the business and development of the Sales Co-Ordinators.
2. Process sales orders and quotations. Responsible for following up on all quotations.
3. Distribute work to your team and control the customer inbox on a daily basis.
4. Action customer service and service calls, e.g., returns/spare parts, etc.
5. Liaise with customers on delivery re-scheduling and re-sourcing if required.
6. Support, identify, and manage relationships with internal/external customers effectively to improve revenue and customer experience.
7. Energise the team to fully participate in process improvements and ensure they understand clear goals.

1. Proven experience at team leader or supervisor level, ideally in a contact centre, with a track record of onboarding new business activity.
2. Assertive, self-motivated, and positive attitude with strong commercial acumen.
3. A customer-centric approach to business in all dealings with customers, peers, staff, and suppliers.
4. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
5. Outstanding planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise in a deadline-driven environment.
