Main duties of the job
Bank Registered Nurse Mental Health / Learning Disabilities
Band 5 - £ per hour + enhancements for unsociable hours As a Bank Band 5 Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities), you will have at least six months previous experience working in an inpatient mental health setting as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will have experience of carrying out a diverse range of duties including the assessment, formulation, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of nursing care that is evidence-based, person centred and recovery focused.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability
2. Completion of Band 5 preceptorship programme (evidence may be required from RNs who have been registered for less than 2 years or with gaps)
3. On-going registration with the NMC
Knowledge

4. Can demonstrate an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments, recovery principles and person centred care
5. Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Programme Approach
6. an demonstrate a working knowledge of physical health conditions and the complications that this can cause to patients experiencing mental ill health
