The role:
To support the General and Assistant General Manager in running the team in order to maintain a successful profitable business. The ideal candidate will have proven high-volume bar management experience.
You will manage a team of supervisors, bar staff, security, drive standards and sales, you will deputise as AGM in your GM’s absence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating Bar service across the site
Seasonal Cocktail menu creation - craft exciting drinks within the brand guidelines
Work within the company budgets as per weekly meetings relating to drink, labour and consumables, to provide the standard of service and experience required.
Manage all aspects of the bar service within the premises to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
Maximise the guest experience
Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations
Key Skills & Experience
A proven track record in bartending in a high volume, cocktail led venue.
Personal Licence Holder - not essential but desirable
Confident, articulate, and presentable
Well trained and have a good understanding of H&S and due diligence
Honest, reliable and hard-working
Passionate and proactive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong people skills and ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
Organised with high attention to detail
Have an in-depth knowledge of beers, wines, and spirits as well as recommended food pairings.
Cocktail knowledge is essential
