Band 5 Staff nurse, 48 hours per week fixed term covering maternity leave, x2 posts available.
We are seeking a motivated registered Nurse to join our team on a fixed term basis.
We are a 30 bedded medical ward caring for patients with a range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
You should be highly committed to best practice and be able to work within a team environment, and have outstanding communication skills.

Main duties of the job
1. Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, providing the prescribed nursing care without supervision.
2. Contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice in the unit.
3. Support Patients and their families during their diagnosis and treatment.
4. Liaise with other departments both at WCH and CIC to ensure the safe transfer of the Patients.
The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.
Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.

* Registered nurse with active registration
