Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our prestigious client based in the Shaftesbury area who are recruiting for a Risk and Compliance Manager (legal) on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* In this varied role you will be responsible for compliance and financial risk management within the firm.
* Day to day compliance management, mitigating and managing risk.
* Ensuring regulatory obligations are upheld and professional practice standards remain compliant.
* Designing and implementing policies and procedures.
* Compliance reporting.
* Management of the Firm's Quality marks.
What you will need to succeed:
* Previous compliance and risk management within the legal sector is essential.
* Knowledge of SAR and AML as well as other relevant legal, financial and data protection legislation and frameworks.
* First rate communication skills at all levels together with a hands-on, positive approach.
* The ability to prioritise with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office and practice management systems is also essential.
