We are hiring for a German speaking Sales Manager to join a successful, international eCommerce and distribution company and manage their growing sales activity in the DACH countries of Europe.
Location of the job
Yeovil, Somerset (South West England) - Hybrid: 3 days a week office, 2 days a week remote. You must live close or within a reasonable distance to Yeovil - essential

Job responsibilities of the German speaking Sales Manager
In order to maximise sales revenue within the DACH countries of Europe (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) they wish to hire a German speaking Sales Manager. You will focus on growing your existing accounts whilst also looking for new sales opportunities to deliver new business.
Your role will have the following responsibilities:
1. Sales lead generation and building a pipeline of high-quality prospects
2. Achieving against set Sales targets
3. Completing required customer calls per day
4. Utilising the promotional support information available to target and promote new ranges and initiatives to drive further sales
5. Building an engaging, positive relationship with their customers through maintaining high standards of customer service and care during and between interactions
6. Driving, developing and delivering sales opportunities through new accounts across the portfolio
7. Actively managing designated accounts to drive commercial sales and build customer retention
8. Ensuring their account base continues to consistently grow
The successful candidate background
9. Fluency in English and German
10. Previous customer sales experience or customer service experience
11. Results/target driven
12. Experience of working in a role making outbound calls
13. Ability to use Word and Excel and learn new systems as required
14. Tenacity - the determination to close a sale and see through to a conclusion
15. Ability to manage personal workload and prioritise accordingly
16. Great communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships and to influence others in a polite, engaging and positive manner.
