They publish in over 10 journals in various therapeutic areas and the members of the editorial board are world-renowned scientists. They are currently looking for a Life Science graduate to join their expanding team in a Scientific Copy Editor position. The Role The role involves language and copy-editing scientific and technical manuscripts with excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Responsibilities include: Performing first-round edits of articles, ensuring production of well-written and factually correct articles Copy-editing of manuscripts for language and readability, in-house style training is provided Checking factual content and raising queries with managing editor when needed Assessing authors responses to edits and comments Once experienced, performing second round edits Job Requirements: A 2:1 or above in a Biological / Biomedical Science related degree Strong computer skills Excellent level of written English, attention to detail and interpersonal skills Motivated and resourceful and takes pride in a job done well
