GEM Partnership is delighted to be exclusively working with Sunderland AFC in their recruitment of a Temporary Administrator for approx 4-6 weeks.
Sunderland AFC was formed in 1879 and has won six top-flight titles in the First Division. Under new ownership since May 2023, and with the recent appointment of a new Chief Business Officer, these are exciting times for the Club and this appointment will play a central role in the co-ordination and organisation of a range of duties to help the smooth running of operations.
The Role:
The Temporary Administrator will be responsible for a varied and wide range of tasks including:
1. Assist the Executive team and the CBO with daily administration and initiatives for the Club.
2. Oversee special projects as directed by the executive team, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
3. Supporting the day-to-day administration across various departments within the Club.
4. Implement process within the role and within departments.
5. Ensuring administrative systems and processes are efficient and well-managed
6. Prepare reports and presentations for management, board and external meetings
7. Organising and managing meetings and events including VIP guest lists, parking requirements and tickets
