Robert Half Finance & Accounting invite applications for the position of Interim Finance Assistant at a well-known and highly respected business based in Harrogate. This role is a full-time, fixed term contract for 13 months, designed to cover maternity leave.
The role:
As an Interim Finance Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support the Commercial team with the processing, matching, and allocating of invoices, enhancement of process documentation, reconciling accruals and promotions, updating reports, and offering guidance on finance and business processes.
The role operates on a flexible working schedule of 37.5 hours over 5 days; this includes 2-3 days in the office and the remainder as remote work.
The candidate:
We are seeking individuals who are part-qualified or are studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, AAT).
Our expectation is that you will have a sharp attention to detail, an inclination towards problem-solving and questioning, comfort in learning new systems and processes, a strong analytical mindset, advanced excel skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven experience within a finance team.
