Scheme Manager (Social Housing)

Our Scheme Managers’ key priority is to facilitate and enable older people in retirement housing to live as independently as possible. We are looking for a Scheme Manager to join our team on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. The role will be working between three of our lovely schemes in Southampton; David Lockhart Court, Kingsland Court & Stuart Bridgewater House.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for providing continuity for residents and colleagues in delivering excellent scheme-based services including:
* Enhanced Housing Management service (EHM) advising on income maximisation, promoting independence and tenancy sustainment.
* Tenancy management low level rent arrears, antisocial behaviour and letting empty properties.
* Facilities management management of communal areas, health & safety, and compliance
* Partnership working developing relationships with external agencies in the community.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
* Be personable, enthusiastic and customer focused in your approach
* Have effective and clear communication skills
* Be able to manage conflicting demands and prioritise effectively
* Have a UK driving license and access to your own vehicle

* Be willing to undertake a basic DBS check
