At Evoke we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Retail Compliance Policy to lead the creation and implementation of robust compliance policies across our retail operations. What you will be doing
1. Develop and implement policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements to create and maintain an industry-leading complaint environment, which encourages customer sustainability and promotes positive play.
2. Monitor and interpret developments impacting the compliance environment, including regulatory change, changes to regulator guidance and codes and relevant enforcement action; iterating policy positions in response.
3. Ensure business goals, initiatives and projects are successfully delivered in a compliant manner by partnering with commercial and operational teams to provide subject matter expertise and guidance; ensuring relevant metrics are reviewed and analysed on an ongoing basis.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure practical application and processes are consistent with stated policies and procedures, creating a culture of continuous progression through ownership of relevant processes to drive improvements to the compliant environment through policy change.
5. Lead the management of compliance incidents and support the investigation of cases raised to the business by external bodies, ensuring relevant detail is scrutinised with appropriate regulatory rigor and suitably presented, identifying root cause, remedial action and implement proactive steps to prevent recurrence as applicable.
6. Ensure highest levels of training, communication and awareness is provided to colleagues commensurate with position and function.

7. Previous experience in a similarly complex and scaled operating environment.
8. Technical understanding of non-remote regulatory requirements for anti-money laundering, customer due diligence and safer gambling applicable to UK and Jersey.
9. Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and industry best practices.
10. Highly analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.
