Residential Childrens support worker.
£14 -£19 per hour

Duties of this Support Worker job:
11. You will work effectively as part of a team of experienced support workers
12. You will be responsible for providing care to vulnerable children supporting service users with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties
13. You will take service users out into the community
14. You will ensure professional boundaries are in place
15. You will be Working to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends and bank holidays
16. You will contribute to the effective implementation of individual programmes by supporting learning, independence and experiences.
17. You will manage the well-being and behaviour's ensuring significant behavioural or physical occurrences are addressed and managed accordingly
18. You will assist with the completion of care plans, risk assessments, reviews, incident & accidents reporting
19. You will support clients with morning and evening routines
20. You will Support clients with challenging behaviour and adopting de-escalation techniques
21. You will supporting clients with in house and external activities
22. You will promote strong communication with both clients and staff team to ensure handovers are accurate and factual
23. You will maintain professional relationships with clients, family and external healthcare professionals
Requirements of the Support Worker
24. Minimum of 6 months Paid experience as a support worker and children's setting in the UK in the last 3 years.
25. Development opportunities, with ongoing training.
26. Have the right to live and work within the UK
27. You will need an enhanced children/ Adult DBS - on the update service, which you can apply for upon registration.
