Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to join our team. This critical role involves overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in our processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
* Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and optimize warehouse layout for effective space utilization.
* Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff while fostering a productive work environment. Manage shift schedules and performance evaluations.
* Safety and Compliance: Uphold health and safety standards, conduct safety audits, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
* Technology and Systems: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and orders, analyse data to improve efficiency, and stay updated with warehousing technology.
* Customer Service: Ensure timely, accurate order fulfilment and collaborate with other departments to meet company goals.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality audits and implement solutions to maintain high standards.

Qualifications & Experience
* Experience: 3+ years of warehouse operations experience with proven leadership in inventory management and end-of-year stock takes.
* Skills: Proficient in MS Office, inventory software, and modern warehousing practices.
* Certifications: Current forklift license (desirable but not essential).
* Education: GCSE-level or equivalent in English and Maths.
* Strong organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
