About the role
This role is to cover a resignation and will initially begin as a temporary role from September 2024 but with the potential to go permanent with the school from January.
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 level.
You will be working in a small but supportive department and be able to work on your own initiative. The school are happy to consider both experienced and outstanding NQT applications.

This school is based in a small town on the outskirts of Burnley and is close to the M6 motorway. The school equip all their learners with the knowledge, skills, values and behaviours to achieve their full potential in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
Requirements
To be considered for the Music Teacher role you must:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
3. Be adaptable and flexible
4. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
