Closing Date - Applications close // at 5pm A career that works for you We’re looking for a Specialist to join our Financial Difficulties team within Credit Risk at Tesco Bank. You’ll be leading the team responsible for the pre arrears strategy, utilising data to identify customers who may fall into Financial Difficulties. You will also be responsible for developing strategies, to support our most vulnerable customers when they are in financial Difficulties, as well as developing tracking and insights with a focus on customer outcomes. This is a management level position coaching and developing both senior and junior analysts in the team, helping them to reach their potential. You will also be working alongside fellow credit risk professionals and working closely with an outsource partner to deliver great outcomes as one team.** Please note the formal job title for this role is Credit Risk Specialist ** What you’ll be doing •Own, maintain and enhance the Financial Difficulties pre arrears strategy to ensure good customer outcomes are being achieved. •Own, maintain and enhance the vulnerable customer strategy within Collections and Recoveries, including reviewing the customer journey ensuring the delivery of the vulnerable strategy aligns with internal performance measures. •Own and develop customer outcomes insight and analysis for the whole of the Collections and Recoveries journey, identifying improvements to support strong outcomes for the customer. •Manage a team of analysts to ensure optimal performance is being achieved, while helping with their own development and career aspirations. •Strong Risk Management, monitoring portfolio performance and ensuring key controls are developed and monitored which mitigate value stream risks from materialising. We need you to have •Leadership and communication skills, presenting key information and insight to senior management and other business stakeholders. •Experience in working with and supporting vulnerable customers. •A track record of organising and prioritising own and team’s workload, including coaching and developing, without supervision to efficiently meet business objectives. And if you have any of these, even better •Experience of Collections and Recoveries. •Excellent problem-solving capabilities. •Able to create concise and informative reports that can be shared with senior stakeholders. •Knowledge of credit risk systems.
