This role has a starting salary of £52,047 per annum based on a 36-hour working week. This is a 12-month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.We are excited to be hiring a new Multiply Partnership Manager to join the Surrey Adult Learning team. The role is based in Woking and will require regular visits to providers across Surrey. What is Multiply? Surrey County Council, supported by our partners, is part of the Department for Education's (DfE) large-scale, 3-year adult numeracy programme, called 'Multiply'. This supports our overarching strategic ambition that 'No one is left behind', by aiming to ensure that adults with low levels of numeracy skills, who would benefit from targeted support, can be engaged and supported in inventive new ways. About the team Surrey Adult Learning is part of the Childrens, Families and Lifelong Learning Directorate and has 7 dedicated centres in Surrey. It delivers 850 courses comprising both a published course programme and a set of bespoke courses that are designed to meet the needs of individual groups of adults in the community. About the role In the position of Multiply Partnership Manager you will be responsible for delivery of Surrey County Council's Multiply programme. You will work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, including the Department for Education, to deliver the programme in line with Multiply technical guidance.You will actively build and manage the partnerships with Multiply providers, monitor performance against spend and learning targets and ensure outcomes are achieved. Shortlisting criteria To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:
10. Working knowledge and understanding of the adult learning market, including the partnership landscape especially Further Education Colleges, as well as third and independent sector services
11. Specialist interpersonal partnership skills, market management, business relationship management and relevant legislative knowledge
12. Experience of managing complex procurement projects, contract management and delivering required outcomes within agreed budgets, together with a track record of improving outcomes
13. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organise Board papers and performance reports
