Streamline Search is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established freight and logistics company with over 30 years of industry experience. Specialising in multimodal freight solutions, including air, sea, road, and rail, our client operates their own trucks, warehouses, and is part of two pallet networks. They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth by targeting manufacturers and local businesses across Hampshire and surrounding areas.
Business Development Manager - Responsibilities
Actively generate and secure new business opportunities in air, sea, and road freight services by targeting manufacturers and local businesses.
Work predominantly on the road three days a week (Monday-Wednesday) to meet prospective clients, with Thursdays in the office and Fridays for meetings with the Managing Director.
Source and develop your own business leads, while collaborating with Sales and Operations colleagues for additional opportunities.
Promote the company's full suite of logistics services, including customs paperwork, airway bills, and comprehensive warehousing solutions, emphasising their in-house capabilities.
Focus on developing long-term client relationships and identifying ongoing opportunities for multimodal freight services.
Provide tailored freight solutions and pricing to meet client needs, leveraging expertise in FCL, LCL, OOG, RORO, and customs compliance. ...
