Duties of a Business Development Manager:
* Identify new business opportunities.
* Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
* Create a sales pipeline.
* Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers.
* Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present findings to senior management.
* Meet with customers and clients face to face both in the UK and globally.
* Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
* Discuss sales strategy and activities with senior members of the team.
