TANKER DRIVER - £ per hour

We are currently seeking an Tanker Driver who will be reporting directly to the Transport Manager and will be responsible for the professional and efficient driver collection, transportation and disposal of customers’ waste. Whilst adhering to health and safety and other Company procedures.
The role holder, reporting directly to the Transport Manager, will be responsible for the professional and efficient collection, transportation and disposal of customers’ waste. Whilst adhering to health and safety and other Company procedures.
Principal Accountabilities
1. To professionally drive and operate vehicles as directed by the traffic office and operations manager, ensuring the efficient and effective collection, transportation and disposal of customers’ waste.
2. To adhere to company processes and procedures, including health and safety procedures, at all times, promoting safe practice and reporting near misses.
3. To undertake routine vehicle checks in an accurate and timely manner, reporting defects where appropriate.
4. To complete all paperwork, including daily timesheets, in an accurate and timely manner.
5. To provide sickness, breakdown and holiday cover for other colleagues when necessary.
6. To attend training courses, mode meetings and tool-box-talks when required, ensuring that skills and knowledge are kept up to date.
7. To develop and maintain good relationships with internal colleagues and external customers, providing consistently high levels of customer service at all times.
8. To carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks, this will include any other ad hoc tasks.
Requirements
9. Previous Class 1/2 driving experience
10. DCPC
Education & Qualifications
11. Class 1/2 LGV License
12. Valid ADR qualification (Desirable)

13. Ability to safely manoeuvre LGVs into restricted & confined spaces
14. Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
15. To be able and willing to work away from home on a regular basis, nighting out in your cab frequently.
