Role responsibilities
The Cleaning Operative will work as part of a team responsible for the day-to-day customer service and health and safety of passengers.
1. Maintain personal compliance with cleaning procedures, by following the communicated cleaning protocols, adhering to risk protocols surrounding Covid-19 and collaborating with other Station staff to ensure your personal safety and the safety of all TfW passengers.
2. Provide station and vehicle cleaning support by following the guidance in the Methods of Working within the Station Briefing Pack to ensure the station is compliant with health and safety guidelines.
3. Knowledge share with the Cleaning Operative team by posting useful information and guidance on the group’s Teams Forum to ensure the team is up to date with best practice.
4. Report hazardous issues by being observant of dangers to customers and following the reporting mechanisms to alert station staff and ensure safety to passengers.
Who we’re looking for
5. Previous experience of working in a cleaning role.
6. Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines.
7. Understanding of how to safely handle cleaning substances in line with Control of Substances.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
