You will join a dynamic and collaborative team that is responsible for delivering a range of projects and programmes to improve the condition and performance of our highways and infrastructure assets.
As a Programme Delivery Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of complex and high-profile programmes that align with the strategic objectives and priorities of the Asset Management Group and the wider organisation
2. Manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders, resources, risks, and issues across the programme lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and engagement at all levels
3. Apply and promote best practices in programme management, governance, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies, and procedures
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including contractors, consultants, customers, and community groups
5. Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of the Asset Management Group, sharing your knowledge and experience with others and identifying opportunities for learning and development
This fixed term position will enable you to develop and demonstrate your leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, as well as your technical expertise in highway asset management. You will also gain valuable exposure to the wider organisation and the external environment, enhancing your professional network and career prospects.
