Who You Are You are a reliable and diligent individual who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. You possess the ability to work independently with attention to detail and adhere to cleaning protocols. You are available to work 15 hours a week during term time, from Monday to Friday, starting at 3.30 pm. An enhanced DBS is required for this role, and you will be provided with all necessary training. What the Job Involves Your primary responsibility is the cleaning of all internal areas of the school. You will be assigned a specific area to clean each day, which may include toilets, corridors, staff rooms, classrooms, school halls, indoor sports areas, changing rooms, offices, and communal areas. Your tasks will include: Sanitising toilet areas including toilets, sinks, flooring, soap dispensers, hand dryers, cubicles, and pipework. General cleaning of rooms and communal areas – vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning skirting boards, window sills, and hard furnishings such as shelves and desks. Sanitising shower areas and cubicles in sports areas and changing rooms. Sanitising sink and work surfaces, floors, and hard furnishings in staff rooms. Emptying waste bins throughout the buildings. In some areas, you may use a scrubber dryer machine, and all necessary training for equipment use will be provided.
