What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Monitoring financial performance, identifying cost saving initiatives and implementing corrective actions where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of the warehouse function
* Produce and review forecasts with the customer in line with business performance, utilising labour and other resources including recruitment
* Monitoring compliance to all legislative and Standard Operating Procedures, initiating corrective action where appropriate
* Promoting effective and harmonious employee relations through formal and informal communication channels where appropriate
* Effectively manage customer relationships to ensure high levels of services are delivered and maintained
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Will have experience of managing conflicting priorities in a fast-moving environment, planning and organising skills
* Continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and warehouse performance whilst minimising costs
* Strong team management and coaching skills coupled with the ability to drive/implement change
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
