About the job you're considering
As part of the growing UK ADM Centre of Excellence (COE), you will be responsible for architecting high performing, next generation Managed Service solutions underpinned by the latest technologies including Cloud, Automation, GenAI, etc., as well as the latest Agile, DevOps and Product-centric Ways of Working.
Your responsibility could be across the UK Public and Private or Financial Services sectors, and will support our Sales community by designing dynamic, market leading, business-led solutions covering Transitions, Service Delivery, Development and Transformation and associated financial models, to enable growth with new logo clients as well as our existing client base.
You will represent Capgemini’s market-leading Managed Services presence and will build relationships with clients and our IT Services partners promoting the Capgemini brand and broader Capgemini offers in this space using our market leading offers including ADMnext. Working closely with Industry Sales & Delivery Unit teams, you will be responsible for creating and driving differentiated solutions that are price-competitive and risk mitigated, in line with the UK business unit’s strategy for growth. You will be familiar with the various aspects of a Managed Service solution, including innovation, transformation, commercial, risk, contractual, resource estimation, staff transfer and transition. Your focus will be on procuring larger deals (those over £20m) involving designing the support and development model for multiple technologies (including Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, legacy systems and COTS packages). You will be familiar with the latest trends in the market including Vendor Consolidation, Global Delivery Centre Optimisation, Agile, DevOps, Automation, Product-centric Delivery, SIAM, etc. In addition, you will help the wider team at developing strategies to increase our revenue, introduce new logos and expand our pipeline of deals.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
* Responsible for leading and managing client propositions interacting proactively with other Capgemini Practices, Service Lines and global Business Units.
* Create, define and deliver strategic solutions across vertical sectors.
* Own the creation of compelling value propositions that clearly spell out the strategic, operational, technical, and financial benefits for the client and how the expected benefits will be delivered.
* Ensure that the service offerings, operational strategies, and service innovation match the clients' business requirements and develops them accordingly when opportunities arise.

Your skills and experience
You will need to be able to operate with a high degree of independence to succeed in this role. You will also be a team player, with demonstrable commercial awareness and a proven track record in the IT industry designing Managed Services across multiple delivery geographies. You will have a proven track record of creating solutions in the Public, Private or Financial Services Sector – both through formal procurement processes and through informal relationship-based design. You will have a good understanding of the issues facing senior executives in this space and an understanding of the solutions that will resonate with them. You will have experience and a track record of working alongside sales teams to sell large deals.
* Capability to articulate technical solutions to technical and non-technical people.
* Strategically oriented, but able to lead all aspects of solution delivery.
* Very strong negotiation and commercial skills.
* Very strong presentation & proposal authoring skills.
* Able to work effectively in pressurised situations and can be relied upon to deliver, irrespective of circumstances.
* Able to work on own with limited assistance/direction from others, although not afraid to seek help/advice where required, delegating tasks effectively to ensure best use is made of own time.
Your Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
