Job Description:
The pay rate for this role is £11:55 per hour.
It’s no secret that Christmas is an exciting time at John Lewis & Partners. A magical atmosphere builds in our shops throughout the festive season. We are looking for temporary Partners to help us deliver the service we are famous for. As one of the following roles, you’ll be part of something really special, working as part of a diverse team where you are free to be yourself.
1. Selling Assistant: Your day will be varied, from delivering service with a smile at the till to helping customers with their online orders. You will be an ambassador for the John Lewis & Partners brand and delight in exceeding our customers' expectations.
2. Stock Assistant: You’ll be responsible for unloading stock, ensuring displays are well-organized and beautifully presented, and creating a truly inspirational customer experience.
3. Cafe Assistant: You will work in our customer restaurants or staff canteen, delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards in food production and stock management.
Partnership Perks:
* Full training will be provided, including digital learning and on-the-job training to ensure you feel confident and supported in your new role.
Desirable Experience & Skills:
* Experience in a selling or stock management role within a retail environment or in a hospitality role.
Hours of Work: Full-time work across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends between the hours of 06:00 - 21:00.
Additional Information:
* As this position is to support the busy Christmas period, candidates are required to be available throughout the whole Christmas period.
