Lusona is working exclusively with our client to recruit an ambitious accounts assistant to join their team in Hillington. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation that will offer career progression.
This role will cover a variety of areas including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and banking:
1. Allocation of bank receipts & payments
2. Credit control
3. Reconciliation of supplier statements
4. Processing of monthly payment runs
5. Reconciliation of control accounts
6. Production of monthly accounts
7. Production of ad-hoc reports for management
8. Provide support to the Finance Manager and Financial Controller where required
Suitable applicants will have experience in both purchase and sales ledger, have experience in using Sage 50, be able to deal with high volume work, and be a confident user of Microsoft Excel. The key thing is we are looking for candidates that want to progress and eventually move away from a more transactional role. You must be a highly motivated, conscientious, and ambitious individual with a hunger to succeed.
