Your new roleYour new role as a Customer Service Advisor / Sales Administrator is a 12-month fixed-term contract. It is a varied role where you will be a part of a team handling customer enquiries and dealing with the day-to-day challenges of working in a service-orientated manufacturing environment. This role will require you to liaise closely with other internal departments. Your responsibilities:
1. Preparation and issue of customer quotations from the in-house system based on customer technical drawings.
2. Sales order processing and order verification.
3. Setting up new drawings for production.
4. Setting up new items in the ERP system.
5. Setting up new customer accounts.
6. Liaising with the finance department regarding payment terms, invoices, credit limits.
7. Progressing and expediting customer requirements.
8. Investigation and resolution of both internal & external delivery performance concerns.
9. Raising credit notes and arranging returns.
10. Customer liaison - dealing with commercial issues, customer enquiries/complaints via phone and email.
11. Participating in the organisation of sales and customer service meetings.
