About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in promoting physical education and encouraging students to develop a love for sports and fitness. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality PE lessons and extracurricular activities. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
* Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events, fostering a sense of teamwork and school spirit.
* Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external coaches to enhance the PE curriculum and support student development.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
* Promote health and safety in all physical activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience in teaching PE or coaching sports is essential.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
* The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in physical education.
* Commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among students.
* Relevant qualifications or training in physical education (desirable but not essential).
To work with GSL Education as a PE Teacher, you will need:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
