Job Role: Technology Copywriter
Location: Bristol (Queen Square)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
We're looking for a Technology Copywriter to join our Content and Marketing team.
Crafting copy that will convert is key. You'll cover copy and messaging for product and tactical campaigns, and be obsessed with copy optimization and how words drive consumer behaviors.
Responsibilities:
• Define, own and amplify the tone of voice for GDS
• Help shape the long-term messaging strategy
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Lead copy development on projects and current product campaigns from conception to completion
• Work with marketing and global teams to test and learn copy options on live projects and performance media
• Ensure effective briefs are submitted to maximize copy effectiveness
• Understand and follow SEO best practices
• Know our target audience inside out, generating copy which grabs their attention and engages them through to conversion and beyond
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in agency or in-house copywriting, working in a specialist copy-writing role; with a particular focus on Technology
• Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of how great copy can drive consumer behaviors
• Experience translating technical product jargon into meaningful benefits
• Experience of tailoring copy across various media channels and formats
• The ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
• Self-motivated to get the best possible result
