Nudge Education has an exciting opportunity for a Case Manager to join our team based in Newcastle with hybrid working. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis (08:30 - 16:30) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £22,000 - £26,250 per annum.
The role:
The Case Manager coordinates all day-to-day aspects of student interventions such as attendance, timetabling, safeguarding and data management.
It is an important, fast-paced role in the organisation as it involves being the first point of contact for practitioners, stakeholders and parents/carers. A Case Manager communicates updates and information internally and externally while keeping systems and data current.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Case Manager:
* Providing updates regarding interventions at regular points via meetings, reports and online systems (both internal and external)
* Escalation of safeguarding concerns to key contacts and the Regional Designated Safeguarding Lead
* Ensuring student data is accurate and updated timely
* Timetabling student sessions with accuracy and adding amendments in line with expected timeframes
* Acting as the first point of contact for practitioners, parents/carers and commissioners and passing on relevant information to stakeholders via phone and email
* Checking the quality and compliance of interventions through planning and risk assessment checks every week
* Promoting and supporting the ethos of Nudge Education to ensure our students and commissioners receive the highest levels of service
Qualifications and experience we’re looking for in our Case Manager:
* Safeguarding, Prevent Duty and Child Protection Training within last 12 months
* Experience working within an education, healthcare or therapeutic environment
* Experience working in care coordinator role is a very transferrable skill set
* Those with SENCO training would also be invited to apply
* Knowledge of Google suite
* Knowledge of the Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Sector
* Minimum of Level 2/GCSE Grade C/Grade 4 in English and Mathematics
