What it's like to work here
This role is based out of one of our West Lakes offices in Wasdale. April through October you’ll represent partnership organisation Fix the Fells, spending your days in the high fells of the West Lakes and beyond. In the winter months dropping altitude to fully integrate with the West Lakes National Trust Ranger team, helping manage extensive countryside land holdings across Ennerdale, Wasdale, Eskdale and Duddon valleys. Reporting to the upland Area Ranger and working alongside one Ranger and another Assistant Ranger, you’ll develop close relationships and make a lasting difference.
