EYFS Special needs teachers required for special needs school Axcis Education are currently recruiting for an EYFS teacher to take on a full time post on a temp to perm basis starting in January 2025. This is for a special needs school in the heart of Wiltshire. The school are looking forward to opening the new build in September so as a result will be expanding students numbers and catering to even more vulnerable students. Marking and planning is required and the school have not yet decided which particular class this post will cover. The school is part of one of the largest SEN providers in the UK and are often oversubscribed. They cater to a wide range of needs both cognitive and physical and the site has some wonderful facilities and grounds available to students including farm animals, outdoor gardening among some others. Due to the schools somewhat remote location a car driver would be ideal since buses to the school are not very frequent. The ideal teacher will be from a primary background if NOT SEN, but experience in teaching SEN students is required. Confidence in the national curriculum and being able to work with children who have only recently been officially diagnosed is required, along with effective and compassionate classroom management and an understanding of how to keep neuro-divergent students engaged in their learning and learning with others. The school offers a unique setting for children and is a brilliant SEN provider and would prove to be a great opportunity to a teacher looking to make a change in the new academic year. Salary will be dependent on experience and scale rate. A enhanced DBS on the update service is required.
