Axcis are happy to be working with a specialist SEND school in Gloucester, which is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team. This full-time position requires a compassionate, dedicated and experienced individual to support children in key stage 4, working both on a 1:1 basis and in group settings. The key Responsibilities: - Provide tailored support to children with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs. - Work collaboratively with teachers to create and implement effective learning strategies. - Support students' academic and personal development in both individual and group contexts, in and out of the classroom. - Facilitate conflict resolution meetings to address and resolve any issues Requirements: - Experience in a similar role is essential. - Experience supporting ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviour and Social Emotional Mental Health needs will be beneficial. - Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service. - Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Interviews and/ or trial days will be held ideally before the summer holidays or during the summer holidays if necessary dependant on availability as this position is due to start in September and to continue on until the end of the academic year with a strong likelihood of going permanent for the right candidate.
