Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Manager - Part time
Hours: 30 hours per week (hours to operate within 9am-5pm between Mon- Fri)
Salary: £40,000 pro rata + benefits
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire - on site daily
Are you an established HR Manager or an experienced HR Generalist with the confidence to take a leading HR role in a fast-paced dynamic environment?
This|HR Manager role ( 30hrs per week) is an autonomous / generalist role that covers all aspects of Human Resources. Reporting into the Managing Director. You will be supporting the business with the development and implementation of an effective human resource strategy that aligns with the overall Company vision and values. The Human Resources Manager will work closely with the leadership team to embed effective recruitment, development and ER processes.
This part time HR Manager role ( 30hrs per week) requires someone to be qualified to CIPD level 5 or equivalent, you will have a strong proven track record in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. An in depth working knowledge of HR best practice and up to date employment law is essential, as is experience of managing and implementing change. Strong communication and customer engagement skills are also a key requirement of the role, as is the ability to handle challenging situations and discussions.
Key responsibilities of the office based HR Manager role ( 30hrs per week)
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties, ensuring the business remains compliant in line with legislationTo work in collaboration with the Executive and Management team to originate and develop HR strategies that consider immediate and long-term staff requirements, skill sets and development needs
2. Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, grievances and disciplinaries, absence, retirement and redundancies
3. To ensure all the required HR policies and procedures are in place, current, legally compliant and meet the required guidance on best practice set out by ACAS
4. Overseeing company recruitment for all departments, including advertising, liaising with agencies and conducting interviews
5. To liaise with line managers to determine colleague development and training needs, analysing results to ensure training meets business objectives and is in line with company plans for future growth and meeting skill requirements
6. To provide timely guidance and support to line managers on all Employee Relation matters where required to minimise negative impact on the business
7. To carry out salary benchmarking exercises where required, providing accurate advise to line managers on progression
8. To effectively implement and manage the annual performance review process
9. To support with and administration of monthly payroll
10. To maintain accurate employee records and data
